5 die in gunmen attack- Damasak, Bornu State

Damasak - A gunmen attack in Damasak, suspected to be Boko Haram's doing, has resulted in the death of five people, Vanguard reports.

The six gunmen were travelling in a Jeep when they started shooting at their victims. No arrests have been made.

The sad news follows shortly after the Nigerian Army announced that it had found and destroyed one of the Islamist sect's factories in Kaduna.
